It’s pretty weird the way we automatically assume that people who make something beautiful must be beautiful… and therefore interesting.
I’m sure they’re great guys and all, but if you’ve never met ’em, how would you know? And if you don’t know, what’s there to go crazy over?
It is a pretty perplexing aspect of human nature- that we assume can easily assume that the outside reflects the inside. Sometimes it is true but generally there is a lot more than meets the eye, for better or worse.
I don’t think girls them because they assume they are “great” guys, I think they assume they are fun and exciting guys. They have developed crushes on them and by definition, crushes are intense yet brief. One day you think you’d do anything just to talk to the person and the next you can barely remember their names. Some people enjoy this rush of emotions and think they are “fun,” thus, having a crush on someone they’ve never met is another form of entertainment and jest. I’m not advocating such behavior, I’m just trying to explain where it might come from.
